Al Turnbull, Co-Founder and CEO of Northwyn, has built his career at the intersection of entrepreneurship, law, and strategic leadership. His first taste of leadership and entrepreneurship came early, serving as president for two years of an entity that owned six diversified businesses. He then went on to practice as a capital markets and corporate lawyer on Bay Street in Toronto at a leading Canadian law firm, before returning to his entrepreneurial roots to lead founder-focused transactions and growth initiatives in sectors ranging from environmental solutions to entertainment.
These founder-focused transactions became the inspiration for Northwyn Wellness Group: the conviction that partnerships should honour a founder’s legacy while providing the resources for scale and long-term value creation.
As CEO, Al is responsible for setting the firm’s vision and driving its overall strategy. He works closely with founders to structure partnerships that are fair, transparent, and sustainable. Guided by a belief that true success lies in quality and fairness—for partners, employees, and ultimately patients—Al’s leadership centres on building a company that delivers the highest standards at every level.
